Stock Refinishing and Recheckering

This Remington 58 was to be a gift to the client's son, but first he wanted it refinished and recheckered.  We decided to remove the original factory checkering entirely and replace it with something that looked a whole lot better than the skip-line squares that were there.

Muti-panel borderless patterns with uncheckered straight ribbons were designed for the grips and wrap-around forearm, cut 20 lpi.  The total time logged on this project amounted to 26.6 hours.
