New Checkering

    The owner of this handsome Mauser Mark X rife told me that the stock had been made for him by Al Biesen.  The craftsmanship evident in that stockwork was superb.  A real treat to work on!

    I added a classic point pattern, 20 lpi, with large bold points and mullered borders.  It was just what the owner had always wanted.  The two grip panels and a wrap-around forearm pattern were completed in 15 hours.
