New Checkering

   The client wanted a simple and tasteful basic 4 panel checkering job.  We opted for large diamond points and mullered borders, fore and aft.

    The checkering was cut 22 lpi with the diamonds laid out in a 3:1 ratio.

The upper and lower points of the forearm panels were staggered to reduce the amount of area to be checkered, and made for a very dramatic look.

The client decided he also wanted a small over-grip panel added at the top of the grip.  All together, this checkering project took 14.75 hrs. to complete.  (Why can't I get the pics as sharp as the diamonds?  Have to work on that!)
